1986 Nuclear Fallout

http://www.empowernetwork.com/mr0cool/blog/chernobyls-nuclear-decay/?id=mr0cool

26 April 1986 saw one of the most horrific accidents in history, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant was going through some what was a routine procedure where things started to go wrong, systems started to over heat and then on of the reactor vessel's ruptured which exposed the graphite vessels causing this to ignite. This caused a radioactive fallout over a wide are including Pripyat, over 60% landing in Belarus. People were told to leave there homes and belongings and leave town, within two days Chernobyl was a ghost town, locked in a decaying time field for the past 27 year's. Niki Feijen has managed to catch some fantastic imagery from the result of the fallout, when looking at these fantastic images you can almost hear the children still playing in the hallways, the people swimming in the pool, the baby's crying in their cots in the hospital beds waiting for there parents to take them home, a home that no longer exist. The radiation that was caused buy the Nuclear Reactor was equivalent to twenty times the atomic bombings Hiroshima and Nagasaki, this gives you an idea on how disastrous this was and why people will be unable to ever return. I wonder if the girl that owned that dole see's this image and is happy knowing her little dole is still safe from the bad air? Or regret that they never had space or time for her?... Shame. If you have something that is worth telling the world or is there something thats on your mind that can be shared, well make money doing it and blog for cash.
