It's official, we are going to be graced with the all new Xbox One, and it's big, it's bold and it's sexy. Been dubbed the Xbox one because this is going to be a games console and a multi media platform all in one, bringing you speeding into the next generation of consoles! this beast of a machine will want to control every appliance you own. Setting up your set top box through the Xbox will allow you to view TV through your Xbox's dashboard. This also means that the Xbox one will be acting like a go between with Virgin Media, Sky, Free view etc. The Kenect has also had an upgrade, with a new motion sensor and voice recognition so you can have a conversation with your Xbox One such as 'Xbox I want to do something else. This is also a bit of a beast weighing around 3.2 kg, but wioth all the cutting edge technology it needs the space to fit in.
With all this technology there also has to be space to circulate the air so the hardware can cool down, like the problem we had in the Xbox 360 we always ended up with the ring of death when we had the Xbox in a place where the air was not properly circulating round it, so hopefully they have resolved this and designed something that will work for longer then a week on it's first release without overheating or braking down.
Kickingg a punch with it's CPU and GPU combo, the Xbox One also packs a 500GB hard drive, 8GB of RAM, a Blu-ray optical-drive, USB 3.0 connectivity and dual-band Wi-Fi, I must say looking the dogs bo11073 here.
The controller has gone through some little tweaks but nothing that will send you over the edge with amazement, but the good news is that the big old ugly battery pack at the back of the controller has gone to make a more slick sexy looking hand held gadget.
But one of the most anticipated bit of software to be used on the Xbox One is the cloud drive, letting you save the games you bought and play from the cloud and helping you to use Skype while watching TV or playing games. It is unclear what the games will be when the console will be lunched latter this year but be sure that it will be something that will lead the way for future of gaming in the new Xbox One.
This gives a little summery of what to expect from Xbox One, but what of the price I hear you say, well this is yet to be announced, but being close to christmas on the release (completely done on purpose obviously) be sure to pay a handsome sum.
